TMC names George Zigkas as delivery director for strategic IT projects
20 September 2023, London – Wings Global Travel has boosted the leadership team for its Wings Tech arm with the appointment of George Zigkas as Director of Technology Solutions and Delivery.
Zigkas, who reports directly to Chief Information Officer Frank Palapies at the TMC’s Cyprus-based tech centre of excellence, has more than 15 years’ experience of leading software teams in the banking, manufacturing and retail industries.
Wings Tech, created from the buyout of travel tech company Alchimea in May, is central to the TMC’s growth strategy. Zigkas will lead the team responsible for development of internal and customer facing systems.
