The RMT union has called a total of six days of industrial action in protest over the sacking of a Heathrow Express driver, with the first walkout set to take place this Sunday and Monday.
The union says it will strike between 12h15 on Sunday, February 26, and 12h14 on Monday, February 27, and again between the same hours on Sunday, March 11, and Monday, March 12.
In addition, the RMT plans to take “action short of strike by not working any additional hours” between 03h00 on Saturday, March 3 and 02h59 on Monday, March 5. Heathrow Express said it was “disappointed” by the decision, and has published a revised timetable for this weekend, with services departing every 30 minutes.
