IATA is the airline industry association which is involved in every aspect of airline operations and management. IATA consults and works with both airlines and travel agents in order to develop standards and practices for the sale of international air transportation by IATA accredited agents. Wings Travel Management is an IATA agent.
IATAN is a department of IATA and has been servicing all aspects of the US Travel and Tourism industry for more than 20 years. IATAN offers you global recognition and global reach, which no other accreditation programme can.
Our Wings Travel Management operation in London is a member of ABTA. In order to obtain this accreditation, we were required to meet stringent financial and quality standards, which include adhering to ABTA’s code of conduct.
ASATA was created as a representative forum in the South African travel industry to promote professional service with security for both members and their clients. Wings is proud to be a member of this association.
ASTA is the world’s largest association of travel professionals. Their 20,000-plus members include travel agents and the companies whose products they sell, such as tours, cruises, hotels, car rentals, etc. They are the leading advocate for travel agents, the travel industry and the travelling public.
Established in 2004, the Dubai Travel and Tour Agents Group or DTTAG was formed to create an environment conducive for interaction among travel trade members and the achievement of business objectives. DTTAG ensures that the interests of the travel trade are represented at the highest level to government bodies (i.e. DTCM & DCCI) as well as airlines, IATA, car hire companies and other suppliers and partners to communicate, implement and enforce agreements on charges and activities. Overall, DTTAG seek to protect and promote the mutual interests of its members, combat unfair competition and promote the integrity & patronage of DTTAG members.
The GTMC represents a diverse range of TMCs, from the world’s largest to small independent specialists and from major London-based organisations to top regional agencies. One of the strengths of the GTMC since is their relationship with key travel industry suppliers. The support of their Partners (airlines, hotel companies, rail, car rental and technology providers) allows them to work together on issues of mutual interest and deliver practical solutions to cross industry issues.
GBTA consists of corporate travel managers and service providers, all of whom benefit from the vast information resources and services offered by the GBTA. The GBTA is an authoritative voice of the business travel community, representing over 4,000 corporate travel managers and travel service providers who collectively manage and direct more than $200 billion of expenditures within the business travel industry, primarily for Fortune 1000 companies.
The Texas Business Travel Association is the premier professional trade organisation providing a forum for the exchange of ideas between managers of corporate travel, travel industry suppliers, and regulatory agencies. The South African Oil and Gas Alliance is the umbrella body for the South African supply hub and fabrication centres. It was established to promote and develop the Western Cape, which occupies a strategic geographic position relative to West Africa, leveraged off South Africa’s supplier and service capabilities in its various key supply regions.
